We are moving in the middle of winter in Chicago, Roseville, CA. What is the climate? Light? Is there still a jeans and jackets, we need snow boots? Shoveling snow?

The winters are mild compared to Chicago. The temperatures are usually in the 50's-60's to low in the upper 30's and 40's. Sometimes you can use a little cooler. but only for a short period. Everything you need snow gear if you plan on the mountain for skiing, hiking, snowmobiling, etc. go. The Roseville / Sacramento area, only a little snow in 10 years or less. Our height is so low that the snow does not go that low.
